Privacy and data handling

This notice explains what information TwinzWorks handles, why, and the controls that apply. It is written to match how the studio actually works and will be reviewed by counsel before public launch.

What this notice covers

It covers the contact details you send us and the project files you upload to the Client Portal for a stated project purpose. It does not cover third-party websites we link to.

Information we handle

We handle the contact details you provide (such as your name, work email and the project context you describe) and the project files you choose to upload. Project files are used only to deliver the commissioned work.

Client uploads and attestation

When you upload a file through the Client Portal, the upload records the uploader, organization or project, a timestamp, the immutable bytes and a stable hash, the purpose you selected, and your attestation that you are authorized to share it. We do not repeatedly ask whether a file is genuinely yours; we do review whether it can technically support its stated purpose.

File handling and security

Uploaded files are screened for basic security and format before technical use. Superseded versions are retained as traceable history rather than silently overwritten. Access is limited to the people working on your project.

AI assistance and visual provenance

Automated tools assist with assembling evidence and preparing drafts. Design and evidence judgment, and the decision to release, stay with a named human reviewer. Proposed visuals are labelled as proposed, never presented as built results or measured evidence.

Public geospatial context

We use public maps, policy, climate and market context to frame a question. Public context is not a survey and is not measured project evidence; its limitations are stated in the work.

Sharing

We do not sell your information. We share it only with the service providers needed to operate the studio and deliver your project, under appropriate confidentiality. Client projects remain private by default; publication requires separate, explicit approval.

Your choices and contact

You can ask what we hold, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it where we are not required to keep it. Email us to make a request.
